Hello, my name is Melina, I am 19 years old and live in Germany. I'm a friendly, outgoing person who loves meeting new people. I am fluent in German and English and have basic to good knowledge in Dutch and Japanese. I grew up with 6 younger siblings, so I know how to take care of children. Me being an quite active and nature loving helps me getting a long with children. My motivation for becoming an Au Pair is to meet a loving family who will take me into their home and help me learn all about their country. Through earning money with my job (and even while I was still at my parent's home) I have been able to travel to multiple countries, last year in December I went to Stockholm for the first time and instantly was drawn to it. I've also spent over a month in Ecuador, which made my wish for going abroad again only stronger. Since I am vegan, I hope to find a family who's alright with me cooking for myself or adjusting the cooked meals to my preference.
I would love to become an Au Pair to build up a great relationship and get to know a new family and especially have fun with the kids. Since I love traveling and gaining knowledge and experiences. It was always a dream of mine to be able to explore a city with some assistance and I love children, animals, and generally getting to know new people and cultures so being an Au Pair fits to me perfectly. I love to help in any situation because it makes me feel fulfilled and happy.
I have been professionally working with children for 1 1/2 years now and it is the most rewarding thing to me. I get to accompany children on their journey of life. Working abroad will not only help me getting more experience working with children but it will also allow me to be a part of a second family.
I would like to be an au pair because i want to take a gap year before going to university as well as improving my English skills. Moreover I love to spend time with children especially because I do not have younger siblings.
Being an au pair makes it possible for me to combine different interests. This is on the one hand the contact and work with children and on the other hand the possibility to get to know a country and another culture. In addition, it is possible to develop my language skills and also to further my education in dealing with children.
I love working with children, playing with them, teaching them things and learning things from them myself. Even as an adult, I can still learn so much from their zest for life and open-mindedness. I myself have a little sister, cousins between the ages of 3 and 13 and love spending time with them. I am very reliable and trustworthy in dealing with children and I am happy to meet new people and children from different countries. I am looking forward to a great time.
Hello dear families reading this, my name is Merle, affectionately called "Teddy" by my friends and I'm a 19 year old student from a snuggly little island in the north of Germany. In June of this year I will be graduating and before heading off to university, where I will most likely major in Political Science, I decided I wanted to try out something else and broaden my horizon, so that's why I'm here. I speak German (C2), English (C2) and some basic French (A2). My hobbies include drawing/painting, writing, reading and all sorts of creative actvities I would also be more than happy to participate in with the children of my host family! I've always loved working with kids and I wanna give something back to the world by teaching the new generation, wether it is in the fields of arts, language or even just managing to make them smile and be confident. Exploring a new culture with a lovely family would mean everything to me and I am ready to work hard. My friends say I'm a good cook and teacher, as well as that I am fun, warm and welcoming. If you are looking for someone who takes the initiative and implements creative, educational ideas into the daily family life, then I'm just the person for you!
