We are a family with 2 daughters living in the Portobello area of Edinburgh and are looking for a live in nanny/au pair.
We are looking for a kind, trustworthy and diligent person to work with our family, helping out with our 2 daughters, aged 8 and 11. The role is for a live-in housekeeper/nanny. Essential responsibilities to include at a minimum: - Dropping off children at school 3 days per week from 8.00am to 8.30am - Picking up children from school 2 days per week from 3:30pm - Preparing breakfast and dinner for children on those days, and bathing them, preparing them for bed and their clothes for the next day - Washing for the children and general tidying of the house. - General light cleaning of the house and keeping it in a tidy condition on an ongoing basis - Babysitting possibly 1 - 2 nights per week. - Total hours per week will be approx. 15-20 hours, Monday through Friday - Weekends & Evenings will be your own personal time Candidates should be happy, reliable, honest, punctual and committed to succeed in this role. Non-smoker. Driving licence is essential as you will be required to drive the children to school, although we will provide the car. A good level of English is preferable. Start date January 2017.
