Dear Au Pair We live in Reigate in Surrey which is close to London and Gatwick. It is also about 45 minutes from Brighton. Both myself and my wife are in full time employment. We have a 5yr old daughter and a 1yr old son. Our daughter is at school and our son attends a nursery a few days a week. We are looking for an au pair with some experience of looking after younger children, ideally someone who has been an au pair before. We need her to start immediately to assist with looking after our children while we're at work as well as helping us to keep the house clean & tidy. We want the au pair to feel part of the family while she is staying with us.
We are looking for an au pair who already has a good level of english, someone who is smart, clean, mature BUT fun as well so she can bond easily with the children. She would help my wife get the children ready for school and nursery and then take our daughter to school which is in easy walking distance from the house. She would then would then look after our son for the full day or until he goes to Nursery, and would then collect our daughter from school and maybe our son from nursery although normally we're back in time to collect him. She will be expected to feed the children when looking after them and will also be expected to look after both children during the school holidays. We would also like her to occasionally babysit so we can go out as a couple - but this will only be once or twice a month. We would like her to help keep the house clean and tidy and while she is not expected to cook if she wants to then that's great. The weekends would be free for the au pair to do what they wanted. We would like her to be involved with us as a family joining us on some days out and also to eat with us if they wanted but this is by no means expected to happen all of the time. Ultimately we would like the au pair to be a big sister to both our children.
