Personal introduction

carer for elderly lady ,easy work although will require being assisted to toilet

The Au pair's job

We would like a caring au pair to share the duties to look after an elderly disabled lady (our mother) in Central Solihull near town centre. There is plenty of free time. The job is very easy for a responsible person sharing duties with the existing over 4o Polish au pair currently living in and although it would mean sharing a twin bedded room the current au-pair sleeps overnight in the separate living room. There are shops, cinema, buses, station, college, parks, library ,all close by. Excellent job for the right person who can stay at least 6months-12months (longer preferred ) . My Mother can use her right hand although she suffered a stroke which left her left side of the body without use. Therefore she needs assistance with getting on the toilet and assistance with personal hygiene rarely, at times. We would pay up to £150 per week, free wi fi and they will need to buy their own food other than coffee, tea, milk. They will have all the afternoons from approx. 4-45pm free and evenings plus weekends free . TWO CARERS COME EVERY MORNING AND EVERY EVENING TO GET MUM WASHED , CHANGED AND DRESSED OR READY FOR BED. The NEW LADY AUPAIR Would be sleeping as a live in au-pair they will only have to be active as follows: 9-30am - 4-45pm Monday 9-15am - 11-45am and then 2pm -4-30pm Tuesday , Wednesday 9-15am - 4-45pm 9-15am - 11-45am and then 2pm -4-30pm Thursday . 9-00am - 4-30pm Friday . We need someone to live in, help the lady (mum), do very little light housework as there is a cleaning lady who comes every week and the au-pair would need to prepare some food for her some lunchtimes. There is plenty of family support and most of our au pairs stay at least 2 years. The current au-pair is willing to be as flexible to help you as well and in addition we have two carers who come in the morning and evening to dress and wash my disabled Mother . We need references, CV ,CRB etc.
