Hello! We are a family of 4, living in central St Albans, 20 minutes from london (it is a lovely town!). Kids are 5 & 9 years old and are at school (except for holidays) from 8 till 5/ 5.30. We are looking for an au pair who can drive (may be Spanish or Russian speaking!) to live with us. We really look forward for someone fun and responsible to join us.
In terms of duties - we have a cleaner who comes once a week, so light household duties only. The most important task is to drive (some days to school/ some days collect from school and then there are kids clubs, all after 5 or sometimes a bit later). We both work in London, so you will have the whole day for yourself, while kids are at school - you can study (there are some free classes in a village near by or some classes in St Albans, we may be able to contribute towards) or you can find a part time job. We have a lovely house and you will have a nice light room with a bathroom. We will pay pocket money in line with au pair pay. Weekends are largely yours, only occasional babysitting and very occasional weekend help - but we will warn you way in advance. Otherwise 2 nights babysitting (does not always happened). We do lots of different sports as a family (we run at the weekend and kids do skiing, swimming, athletics, karate, you name it!).
