We are a happy, loving family. My husband Jeremy and I both work full time and our two fantastic daughters, Gwenny (8) and Anwen (5), are full time at school. Our girls are full of character, inquisitive, funny and clever, playing really well together as well as with friends. They love imaginative play, reading, parks, and crafts. We are a very relaxed family, enjoying spending time together, laughing and playing together, as well as understanding the importance of manners, showing kindness and school work. We are looking for someone to start this September. It would ideally be suited to someone doing a language course or with friends in London or someone very outgoing and willing to make the effort making friends in a big city. Our neighbours and us both had German au pairs last year which worked very well. Our neighbours have another German au pair starting this September also. We are looking for someone friendly, kind, sensible and loving, to be a part of our family and help with our two children. We live in West Hampstead in north west London, close to all the sites and attractions that London offers. Hampstead Heath is nearby for fantastic walks, running and fresh air, but we are equally near cinema, shops, gyms, train stations, etc. We would like to welcome the right person into our family, and we believe we can offer you a new and different experience than most, and to experience England and the UK in a great way. For us, of course, English speaking is important but it would be nice if the children heard other languages. Ideally we would like someone who can
The main role would be to drop Gwenny and Anwen to school from Mon-Fri morning at 8:15am and collect Mon-Fri afternoon at 3:30pm or after school clubs, looking after them until Jeremy or I arrive home at around 6-6.30pm. We would like you to interact with the other nannies and children, organising and attending play dates with the girls. Two nights babysitting a week would be included also. You would also be responsible for cleaning and tidying communal areas e.g. kitchen/hall/living room as well as keeping the girls bedrooms and belongings tidy. We have a cleaner coming twice a week. You will have your own bedroom, wifi and TV, we will provide you with your weekly food/groceries and travelcard. Your weekends will be mostly free apart from the occasional babysitting where we will give you at least 24 hours notice, as much as possible.
