Hello My Son, Tristan, and I live in a lovely village just outside London with 25 minute train journey to central London. We moved here so Tristan could go to the local Steiner School. He is four and started kindergarten last September. He love all things with wheels and enjoys being outside, painting and cooking. We live a large house with a garden on a small street of families were the children play together most days. I work for myself part time but sometimes need to be away for long days so its difficult to do both drop off and pick up. We eat mostly organic vegetarian food and I love baking so we regularly have fresh bread and cake:) We are looking for someone who is interested in learning about Steiner education and happy to become part of our family. If you are kind, patience, hardworking and creative you'd fit in well. Tristan's dad and I get on well and Tristan visits his dad every other weekend so you would regularly have the weekend to yourself.
Our mornings start with getting dressed and then heading down stairs for breakfast. We'd like you to help Tristan with laying the table and cleaning away afterwards as this is something he likes to do but needs some help. Then some assistance with getting ready for school. Walking to school, which is about 10mins, would be your job two or three days a week depending on how much I am working. This would be the same with pick up. Two or three afternoons each week you would be responsible for Tristan and this would involve walks, play dates and cooking. Other weekly duties would involve helping out in the house with the cooking, washing and keeping things tidy. Generally we do this with Tristan or while he's playing. We have cleaner regularly so you don't need to any cleaning like the bathroom, (unless you really want to)! Generally I will put Tristan to bed but two nights a week I will be out studying so you will need to baby sit. I work for myself so it means we have some flexibility about days so if there is course you want to do or some regular study we can make arrangements so that you can have time off when needed.
