we are an Italian family with 2 kids aged nearly 6 and 7: they will be in year 1 and year 2 respectively in September. We are looking for an enthusiastic and energetic person to look after them and to become part of our family. Minimum stay: 18 months, preferably 24. Minimum previous experience: 12 months. We live in a 5 bedroom new house in Balham where the au pair would have a nice private bedroom with its own little terrace. The bathroom is shared with the kids only. The kids go to 2 different schools, both nearby and spend their afternoons at various sport activities
Tasks: looking after the children when they are not in school, which means - waking them up in the morning, giving them breakfast, get them ready for school and bringing them to school - picking the children up from school and bring them to the scheduled sport activities or playdates - on the days where there's no activity planned entertain them with fun/learning games - babysit 2 nights per week on average (when parents go out) - taking care of the kids laundry (excluding ironing) Timetable: 7.30am to 9am; 3.10pm to 7pm when babysitting is required the afternoon slot goes from 3.10 pm to 8.30 pm Full day (8.30am to 7pm) when kids are on half term or sick Advantages: new and clean house, with lovely Italian handmade food available every day (the mum runs an Italian catering company). Broadband, private room with little terrace, amenities near by (Balham), excellent transportation links
