I am a midwife and I work unsociable 12hr shifts - days and nights. I am finding it difficult to work shifts that suit my family and have my own social time. I would like an aupair to help me attain a work/life balance, I don't want to rely on my eldest son for childcare and I have no family support. I would like to employ an aupair that could help me with the school run. care of my youngest son overnight during my night shift or if I work during the day the role would be to help him get ready for school, take to school and pick up. Also prepare meals for the boys when I am at work and household chores (when boys at school/college). My shifts are quite flexible but I would like to work full time with occasional social time out for myself. The aupair could have days and nights off when I am off duty.
I would like the aupair to be friendly, patient and approachable, Also to be fun loving and energetic. The aupair should be a well balanced person, a good role model for my children and to get involved with their recreational activities. Preferably interested in sports, especially football. English speaking is essential and working towards developing the language.
