Dear Au Pair, We are a kind, friendly, considerate family of five. My name is Kerry and I am 36 and my husband Kevin is 45. We have three well behaved daughters; Alicia is 11, Mimi is 5 and Jemima is 2. Alicia loves horse riding and music, Mimi loves games reading and Jemima loves drawing and cuddling! We have a 3 year old Shih Tzu dog called Tallulah and a 12 week old kitten called Ted. About us I make Roman blinds and curtains for a living and Kevin is an IT executive for IBM. In his spare time he is also a DJ. Kevin is often away Monday through to Thursday and I work all day Monday to Thursday and every other Saturday. We are moving to a bungalow which is situated on a stud farm in Ewhurst in Surrey. Expectations You will have your own large bedroom with ensuite bathroom and use of a car in your spare time with prior agreement. Cranleigh is a small town about 2 miles away, Guildford is the nearest big town which is 9 miles away and has a fast train service to London (35 minutes ), or heading the other way is Horsham, which also has mainline train services and both have some great shops! English lessons are available at Guildford college. You can get there by bus or car. As well as provide full board, we will pay £85 a week. Really looking forward to hearing from you soon if you feel this is the right opportunity for you Kind regards Kerry, Kevin, Alicia, Mimi and Jemima
We would like you to help for about 3 hours in a morning and 3 hours in an afternoon Monday to Thursday and most of the day on alternate Saturdays. Your free days will be every Friday, every Sunday and alternate Saturdays. We'd love you to be part of the family and enjoy your stay with us. We will provide a TV and Internet access, a mobile phone if required, the ability to Skype family and friends, three consecutive days off every other weekend so you'll have plenty of time to see the UK and even visit home if you want to and lots of love and support! We will need help getting the children ready for school in a morning and taking them to school and help in an afternoon collecting them from school, playing with them and preparing an easy meal for them. We also need help with hoovering the house, sweeping the floors, dusting the house, folding washing and putting away, loading and unloading the dishwasher. Sometimes we will need evening babysitting too.
