We are a very nice, kind and caring family, who respect others, so if you was to join us, you would be treated as part of our family. We are married, and have been for 10 years. The wife works full time from 0630 till 1800, Monday to Thursday. The husband works from home, so is always on hand to help if you need any assistance at all. We have 2 children, Sammey 7 and Hannah 3. Hannah goes to school from 08:45am to 12:30pm (midday). Sammey, goes to regular school form 08:45am till 3pm We want an Au Pair who is willing to look after the children, and not come here and use us as a stepping stone to finding a job in the UK. We will consider mature and grown up Au Pairs from all countries, as long as you have the correct immigration / Visa requirements to visit and Au Pair in the UK. We live in a Town right on the edge of Salisbury Plain, which is approx 1 hour and 20 by train from London. We are currently looking for an honest and trustworthy Au Pair, who can look after the children and carry out her responsibilities under minimum supervision. The job we want the Au Pair to do is very easy, as we don't expect any help with the majority of the housework, we just want our children and home looked after and being taken care of. If you can do that, we would love to talk to you. As an Au Pair, we would like you to get the children ready for school, After school, change them into playing clothes. Throughout the day, keep the house in a clean and tidy condition, and amusing the children. You would be expected to work around 7 hours a day, 6 days a week, but please trust us, you will not be doing much in terms of house work, as we only want you to look after the children, with a small assistance of house help now and again. The general routine of work for you would be: 0730 - 0830 - wake the children, and get Hannah ready for school, the husband will get Sammey ready. The morning in between is your free time, so no need to work while the children are at school. 1pm - 6pm entertain the children (or until the children are ready for bed, whichever comes first, but 1900 is your cut off time). Obviously during school holidays, you will need to supervise the children during the course of the day, from when they wake up to around 6pm. The only ironing you will do is for the children (school uniform on a Sunday night), and generally keep them clean throughout the day - basically looking after the children at all times, making sure they are clean and safe. The majority of things we require you to do will revolve around the children, and not the parents. You will keep the house tidy from toys, once the children have finished playing. Iron the childrens clothes for the week. Keep the childrens bedrooms tidy. The only chorse we will ask you to assist us with, is putting the washing out to dry, and once dry folding the clothes. Empty the dish washer once it has finished washing the dishes Feed the children, and yourself for breakfast and lunch, and the husband will cook the evening meal. Now and again if things get busy, we may ask you dust and hoover, but that's as far as it goes. We are a proud family, particularly my wife, so we do all our own chores within the house, and will not expect you to slave over the sink or get heavily involved in domestic duties or chores. You are first and foremost here to look after the children, with a little assistance on other needs in the house when it gets too much for us. If you can manage children without shouting or being aggressive towards them, you are more than welcome to apply, as we would love to hear form you.
