We're an easy-going, friendly family looking for an au pair with experience of caring for a young child for a period of about 4 months from mid-January 2016. My husband is French and we are trying to teach our child French so would prefer a French speaker who could speak French when caring for our daughter, but with whom we would speak English at home when all together. Our daughter, Olivia, has just turned 3 and is a caring, fun-loving, active little girl. We live in a maisonette near to Wimbledon, which is about a 30 minute tube ride from London's museums, shops, theatres etc. (in fact, there are three main routes into Central London from where we live, two tube lines and a train line). Wimbledon itself has lots of nice shops, restaurants and pubs, a cinema, some theatres, gyms and a very large, famous park called Wimbledon Common. We have two cats who are shy, but very soft.
Our daughter will be attending nursery from 9-3.20 every day. We (my husband and I) leave the house at around 7.45-8am for work and normally return around 6.30 - 7.30pm every night. We would like an au pair who can have breakfast with our daughter and take her to nursery (5- 10 minute walk from our house) and pick -up our daughter each afternoon from nursery. From 3.20 till we get home from work, we would like an au pair who can play with our daughter, talk to her and prepare and eat dinner with her. We would like the option of babysitting once or twice a week and would like some help with some housework duties whilst our daughter is at nursery.
