We are a busy family with 3 lovely children. The oldest 2 are boys and the youngest is a girl. My husband works away a lot so I am looking for someone to help to be an extra pair of hands at home. I am a stay at home mum...although I seem to be out quite a lot! We live in the countryside and are often outside playing in the garden or going for walks. The children play rugby, football and tennis - there always seems to be something on with parties, play dates, school trips etc. And homework needs to be squeezed in too! I am sociable, friendly and fairly relaxed, although I like the house to keep reasonably tidy I don't live in a museum! We are looking for an English speaking, friendly, sociable au pair who will enjoy playing on the trampoline and in the garden with the kids, listening to the children practise reading, help out with homework and be happy to assist with tea time whilst I am dashing in and out picking up kids from different activities. I'd like you to be able to use your own initiative to come up with ideas and be happy to go out and about doing your own thing.
Helping get the children out the door for school/ activities. Babysitting 1 or 2 children whilst I pop out to pick up another from an activity or school club. Helping out with homework/ listening to children practice reading. Occasional babysitting so my husband and I can go out together. Playing with children/ walks etc. Some light housework e.g. Putting away laundry, washing, dishwasher (we have a cleaner once a week). Key time of the day for helping out will be between 4.30pm - 7pm on weekdays and weekends.
