We are an Italian/Spanish family of 4 people and we live in London. We have two children aged 9 and 11. We have aupair living with us before and we loved the experience of knowing different cultures and people. We like going to the park, playing handball and basketball, playing board games, cooking, reading and chatting. We like music as well; we have got a piano and a guitarre at home. We are looking for a mature and responsible French speaker girl with experience in children care (also teen-agers), able to teach some French and who likes pets. We expect her to be organized and proactive; caring with the children and able to create a special bond with them. She has to be polite, tidy and discreet as well.
Our au pair will have to supervise the children before they go to school, prepare breakfast, walk the youngest one to school and pick him up later (the eldest will take a bus on his own). She will have to gove them an afternoon snack and stay with the children during the afternoon, teaching them a little French and supervising them until the parents get home. We offer a lovely room with brand new furniture in one of the best areas of London, 80£/week pocket money and extra 35£/month for transport fees. Ordinary cleaning is done once a week by a cleaning lady, the au pair has only to tidy up after herself and do some very light house work like loading and unloading the washing machine.
