My name is Claire and I’m a professional working single Mum with 3 sons. My eldest son lives with his Father and visits from time to time, but my 2 younger sons live with me. ***i am looking for an au pair to start in early May and stay to at least September if not longer***** We live in Basingstoke, North Hampshire in the South of England. We live in the suburbs and it takes about 45 minutes by train to get to London. Our house is in a friendly neighbourhood and we have a busy social life with many friends. We are close to a bus stop. There are 2 colleges to study English at in Basingstoke. We currently have a Spanish au pair called Aida and she will be here to do a hand over to our new au pair. She will also answer any questions you may have! We will miss her very much. We have had several au pairs and we are still in touch with them. Our au pair has their own room, ensuite and TV.
We are looking for a responsible au pair to join our family. You’ll need to be like a big sister to the boys and in return you’ll be treated as one of the family. Our new au pair needs to be dedicated, hard- working, good with dogs and self- sufficient. Ideally, you’ll have experience dealing with children, sporty, creative and good at socialising. Duties: You’ll need to look after the boys overnight on occasions on your own when I’m at work, and look after the dogs. Most days you’ll need to walk the dogs in the morning and evening. I do walk the dogs at weekends and occasionally in week (but most of the time you will need to do it). You’ll also need to get the boys ready to be picked up to go to school and be ready for when they come home. I’ll also need some help at occasionally at weekends with the boys or the dogs. But most weekends you'll be off. Our au pair needs to do the washing, sort out the washing and put the clothes away. We do have someone come in to do the ironing. You’ll also need to do the housework and do some meal preparation for the boys. During the school holidays you'll need to be available to help more with the boys. What do you get?: £85 pocket money per week during term time £100 pocket money if you are looking after boys during the holidays
