Hello, We are a happy friendly family of 3 and a Labrador :) who are looking for a new au pair as our current au pair who has spent the last 9 months with us is due to leave shortly as she starts work back in France. After having a very good experience with our first au pair, we would like a friendly, loving, pro-active and responsible person to join our family, be part of it and take care of our 5 year old daughter. We live in the South East of England in a Essex in a town which is by the seaside and just one hour away from London. The location is quite ideal and there are lots of activities to do locally. We hope you like our introduction and we hope to hear from you soon. We are a young easy going family of 3 which includes my husband and myself and our daughter who has just turned 5 years old and is now at school. We also have a gorgeous Labrador dog who is just 2 years old who is very friendly and loves to be loved. Our daughter is a very happy girl, very content, always smiling and also very easy going. We are a bilingual family. My husband is Swiss-French and our daughter is half English and half Swiss so she also speaks French and English, unfortunately my French is more limited ;) We lived in Geneva, Switzerland until last June when we decided to move back to England. My husband and I both work full time so in the evenings and weekends we love to spend all our time with our daughter and our dog, however we love to go skiing in the Winter.
We do have some requirement which are very important to us - -Our au pair needs to have some previous experience with children and be extremely responsible and mature putting our daughter's safety first at all times _Caring loving and playful -Has to own a full driving license and to be confident driving in a foreign country on the left side of the road (we don't need them to drive far, just to school and after-school activities, the road are quite busy in our town) -Likes dogs and willing to take our dog for a short walk or play in the park with a ball (at least 2 days per week).We will need an au pair to help us 5 days a week from Monday to Friday with every weekend off. It equates to about 5 hours per day/25 hours a week. On a daily basis we will need our au pair to get our daughter ready for in the mornings and take her to school then also pick her up after school and provide after school care, cook her dinner and get her ready for bed. Some days she will need to be taken to after school activities. In addition to childcare we need a pro-active au pair willing to do light houseworks tasks such as emptying and loading the dishwasher on a daily basis, ironing and washing for our daughter when requested, tidying away after herself and our daughter, cooking for our daughter,vacuuming and cleaning in communal areas and bathroom. Ofcourse, not all these tasks will need doing on a daily basis we require the au pair to speak in French with our daughter all the time howe
