We are looking for someone who is energetic, mature, caring, kind, considerate, organised and trustworthy, and someone who also likes cats as we have two! We live in Pott Shrigley which ia quite rural so it would be good if you like the countryside. Next door lives my mother (who has two dogs). We are just on the edge of the peak national park and people come from far and wide to walk, cycle and ride in the area as it is very beautiful. We are 30mins away from the centre of Manchester by public transport and live 10 minutes from the nearest town - Macclesfield. London is just 1hr 40mins away by train. We have 3 children – Jasper who is three, and the twins Aryella and Charlie are 1.5 years old. ..... We live in a house filled with love and laughter and our au pairs become a part of it. We are happy for any potential applicant to speak to Angel so you can hear first hand about his time with us. I work two days a week in Leicester and then 2 days a week from home. My husband works full time but its a mixture of home and office based so we like to get up with the children in the mornings and have a family breakfast. Your day would start at 8.30am and finish at 5.30pm Monday - Friday and your weekends are free to enjoy! There is additional time to relax during the day when the twins sleep for at least an hour and on Thursdays I do activities in the morning which you can either join me on to improve your English or you can relax / study. From January the twins will attend nursery 2 mornings a week. Jasper attends nursery 3 days a week so its quite rare you will have all 3 children, but when you do, they love playing together! All our children are very happy and settled into good routines. ...... There is some housework that is required when you are not playing with the children or taking them to activities, such as hoovering, cleaning, washing, ironing and folding clothes but we all muck in and share the work. If you like to cook then you are welcome to get involved! but generally its me that cooks each night. We eat well and we like to eat fresh food! Both my first 2 au pairs have learnt some dishes under my guidance and their Spanish beans are now a favourite meal in the family! We have a second car which can be used for you to get about with the children and can also be used in your free time to drive about locally. You have your own room with shared use of the bathroom with the children. This has a bath for the children, and a shower for your personal use. We are looking for our new au pair to join us for between 6-12 months.
