Hello My name is Christine and I am a 37 year old single mother to 2 fabulous spirited boys, William aged 4 and Max aged 6. Whilst we live in a small house (3 bedrooms, 1 upstairs bathroom, 1 downstairs toilet, lounge, kitchen/diner, garden and garage) it is a happy home with lots of fun, laughter and love. My 6 year old is very bright, kind and caring whilst my 4 year old is currently very mischievous but full of fun and very loving. We spend our days walking down the canal (we live a 2 minute walk away), going to parks, and on days out such as to farms and museums, as well as cinema and theatre trips. We have a piano in the house and I am trying to encourage the boys to play musical instruments – I have just got a Saxophone for Max and William is showing interest in the piano.
I am currently a student nurse in my final year and need someone who can be flexible and fit around my shift patterns. When I am at university (September and October) I leave the house around 07.30 and get back around 17.30, usually only 2 or 3 days a week. When I am on placement (November, December and January) I work 5 days a week and have to work various shift patterns but up until now I have mainly had to leave the house at around 06.30 and return between 16.00 and 17.30 depending on how far away I am working. The boys get up around 07.45 and start school at 08.55 and finish at 15.15, so I need someone to be able to take them and collect them when I am working or at university. We live directly opposite the school so it is really just a case of opening the front door and walking across the road :o). I need someone from the beginning of September until the end of January, and then from around the 27th April to the 17th July. If my circumstances remain the same I will need someone on a permanent basis from September 2015. The boys tend to stay with their Dad every other weekend. On the weekends when they are with me it would be nice for me to have the option to work a short shift (8-2) at the local hospital if you don’t have plans. It would also be nice for you to stay in and babysit up to a couple of nights a week, again if you don’t have plans, and I could put them to bed before I go at these times. It would be helpful if you were prepared to do occasional light cleaning and some cooking but I mainly do this myself. You will need to be calm, caring, fun, easy going and flexible. In return I hope I am the same! I am looking to pay £70 per week.
