We are a fun loving chilled out family with 3 young girls. However we need an au pair to look after our younger 2 kids aged 3 Sarah and aged 8 Ambreen. Our eldest Aneesa is 15 years old and is quite independent hence doesn't need an au pair! We are a modern unorthodox muslim family with professional jobs. I, Naveed am the mother and I am director of my own training and development company.My husband Sajid is a country general manager for a pharmaceutical company.We have a fun loving laid back approach and are very hands on with our kids. We like to spend evenings and weekends with them doing activities such as drawing,arts and crafts,cycling, playing tennis in the garden, going shopping, watching movies, listening to music and most weekends we like to eat out one night.Our current au pair has to return to the Czech Republic as her grandmother has terminal cancer and she wants to spend time left with her.Our 3 year old who is really funny, goes to a private nursery part time, our 8 year old goes to primary school and our 15 yr old goes to high school.We are looking for someone who loves kids and wants to be like a member of our family and not an outsider.Someone who knows how to entertain kids and have lots of fun with them and help them with their homework,kids meals,getting dressed in the morning and some help with housework.We want someone with a great sense of humour and a lovely warm personality.We are looking for a driver & can stay for 12months or even more.
You will be responsible for helping getting the kids ready in the morning for school and nursery. Dropping them off and collecting them as we need someone who drives because we have a separate car for the au pair to use.You will prepare the kids meals and help them with their homework.Once they have done their homework you will during their free time engage in fun activites such as drawing, watching tv with them, playing games and generally having fun time. In the evening we all sit to eat as a family and you will help set the table and if necessary help me prepare the meal.You will have a full day off from your weekend and sometimes when we go out as a family you will get the whole wekend off. We will need assistance with the household chores such as dusting, hoovering and ironing. We have a large house and everyone has to help out with the cleaning so don't worry you won't be doing it alone! Our first language is English in the house and the 2 younger girls are learning to read Arabic so they can pray the Quran. Hence it would be ideal if you can speak and read Arabic just so you can help with their pronunciations of their Arabic letters.It would be a definite plus point.We are open to all religions and beliefs and don't discriminate against anyone as we are really open minded. Our current au pair is a Catholic and its been great to learn about the different beliefs versus Islam.We want a non-smoker.
