I am looking for an au pair to help balance caring for children with work commitments. I want someone kind, reliable and honest. I am a professional worker with two beautiful children, aged 4 and 9 years old and live in Headingley, Leeds. The little one goes to nursery 2 days a week and the older girl attends school full-time. We also have a dog and a cat at home. My children like rock climbing, reading, baking, doing arts and crafts, bouncing on the trampoline, gymnastics, swimming, generally being outdoors and having fun. They also enjoy movies,the eldest particularly likes adventure movies. Sometimes they clash when they forget to share! I like to go to gymnastic club 2-3 times a week to keep flexible and fit. When I have time, I like to read, bake & cook, watch movies, go for walks in the forest and generally enjoy spending time nature. I like to have a peaceful, relaxing and joyful family environment. I am looking for a mature, responsible, non-smoking au pair to join our family to help support us in our daily routine. In exchange, the au pair will have the chance to join a lively family home and become part of our family, giving opportunity to improve her English language skills, whilst gaining real life experience of British culture and family life.
The au pair would be responsible for taking the girls to and from school/nursery with the dog, Monday to Friday. The smallest girl goes to nursery two days a week, so the au pair would also need to take care of her when she was not at nursery. I would require babysitting 2-3 times per week maximum and occasional weekend work. It would be helpful if the au pair could do some chores around the house e.g. cleaning up after breakfast, putting the rubbish bins out weekly, hanging out washing etc but there is no need to undertake heavy housework.
