We are a Franco/Swedish couple ( we speak english with eachother) that will be making the move over to Edinburgh. My partner is an author and philosopher of and will currently be focusing on his PHD at Edinburgh University. I myself am a freelance Garphic Designer. As a couple we have managed to establish our own company speciallising in high quallity design books called haute Culture: Stating that we are very much in to culture, litterature, philosophy and design. We are currently looking for someone that can take good care of our 2 year old little girl. Svea is without doubt a happy, social and very curiouse little gilr that needs allot of stimulation. It is imoortant to us that our little girl gets to meet and play with other children, get allot of fresh air and nature as well as good quallity time for learning new things. Ideally we would like her to have the chance to pactice her language skills in Swedish, French and English. We are looking for a happy, warm and trustworthy person, whom is responsible and respectful to other peoples space and time. It is important to us that the right person is also interested in the arts and culture.
We would like the au pair to work for a minimum of 30h/week. We except the right candidate to organise a schedule each day were our little one gets to meet and play with other children (the Swedish institute in Edinburgh has lots of things to do) play in nature and have some time for fun learning. Meals should be prepared and made for our daughter everyday as well as naptime. During the hours while she sleeps the au pair is not expected to work. Some cleaning will be expected as well as laundry.
