Mainly this is for our 9 year old son who is very engaging and intelligent but some assistance to our daughter who is currently taking iGCSE's Neither children are particularly easy and if you do not have a primary teaching qualification and experience you may not be able to manage them. Our son requires a lot of stimulation and so the day will be taken up totally engaging with them. Please do not think you can set them work and then go onto your computer or mobile; they will tell me! However they do love and respond well to committed and hard working au pairs. Approximately 6 - 7 hours a day, weekdays only with usually half day on Friday (or one day in the week) with the children to include teaching our son, supervision/help where and when required for our daughter, general tidying, supervision and general household duties within that timescale.
We home school and so you will be speaking English all day. Help with improving their French would be great though!
