Hello! We are Zuzana, Michael, Zachary, Gabrielle and Thomas. We are a loving family with two grown up children (Gabrielle is 21 and Thomas is 19), and a little boy who is going to be 4 years old in June. We live in Winkfield, which is a small hamlet in a pretty countryside. The two older children are living away from home (they are away at university or working already), and so we need a a kind and responsible girl to help look after Zach. He is a very happy, talkative, energetic and cheeky little boy who loves everything new, fun, chatting, and lots of playing and games. Michael and I love travelling, going out to the theatre and dance shows, hiking and food! We are a loving and quiet household and most of all we care that we find somebody who can fit in with the rhythm of our family and Zach. The ideal person will be very responsible, able to organise their day, peaceful and happy. We work from home, so there will always be somebody there to help you. We are all British but come from a rainbow of different backgrounds. Michael was born in England but is half German, half Cypriot, and I am originally from Slovakia. We speak English at home, but you will hear other languages in the house from time to time, especially when the grandparents come to visit :)
We both work, and Zachary is at nursery 4 days a week. We need help about 20-25 hours a week, 35 hours a week during school holiday times (when nursery is shut), including some housework. We also ask you to babysit for us 2 nights a week. You will primarily be looking after Zach on Wednesdays (when is not at nursery) and one half day on weekends. We will ask you to spend some time with him during weekdays when he returns back from nursery. Your main job will be to entertain Zach - playing with him, taking him for walks, teaching him some new skills, preparing his meals. Zach is a happy child and loves learning new things. He is very quick at picking up new skills and there is plenty of opportunity for you to let your creativity blossom :) Being able to cook is an advantage but not a must. In terms of housework, you will do no more than one hour a day. Your housework duties will vary from day to day and include hovering, dusting, ironing, mopping the floors, cleaning the bathrooms. If you would like to take and English language course or any other course, we will arrange the daily routine to accommodate this. There is an English language course in the nearby town - Bracknell (25 minutes away by bus) which you can attend. Also nearby is the beautiful historic town of Windsor, where the Queen lives some of the time! You'll find all the amenities in both towns - restaurants, pubs, theatre, cinema. London is an hour away by train. You will have your own spacious bedroom with bathroom. Occasionally we may need you to collect Zach from nursery, which is currently 30 min away by car, so you need to have a valid driving licence and have driven for a while. You are entitled to 2-weeks of holiday on a pro-rata annual basis. We travel a lot for work and occasionally we may ask you to accompany us abroad or stay at home with Zachary for a couple of days. We look forward to hearing from you!
