My wife and I are both in our 30s and we both work full time in the city of London. We have two wonderful boys aged 1 and 5. The baby stays at home most of the time and sometimes attends baby play groups and the older one goes to school. We are a very close and caring family and we have welcomed the two au pairs/nannies who have lived with us in the past as part of our family. Our first au pair is visiting us in London for the second time since she left last year. We are very happy and social people and we are very caring and affectionate to each other. As a result, our boys are very confident, content and calm and generally quite easy to look after. We are looking for a mature person who can look after our two boys as well as do some cleaning duties. My wife and I both have busy jobs and indeed our oldest son has quite a busy school/social life, we need someone who is quite flexible and adaptable who can cope with change.
The job entails waking the children up, washing them, feeding them breakfast and then walking to school (10 mins from home). The rest of the day is spent taking care of the baby, entertaining him, feeding him, changing him etc (he goes to some baby play groups) until it is time to pick up our older son. He then needs to have a snack, help to do homework, have dinner, wash and be put to sleep. There will also be some light cleaning/laundry/ironing duties as well as two nights of baby sitting a week.
