About Our Family Located on a quiet 160-acre ranch in the beautiful Kispiox Valley, we are a respectful, structured, and nurturing Christian family seeking a compassionate, dependable live-in nanny to care for our gifted 11-year-old Indigenous child and support his daily routines. Our child participates in online learning, and we value consistency, encouragement, and positive reinforcement. We are looking for someone who can provide attentive care while building independence and life skills.
Primary Responsibilities: • Online school routine support • Self-care & personal development • Empowering life skills & household participation • Planning/facilitating peer, physical, and educational outings • General childcare & light household duties Ideal Candidate: • Clean, quiet, sober person, non-smoker, no pets • Experience with school-aged children with support needs (autism/ADHD) • Patient, structured, and encouraging • Confident supporting online learning (Grade 6), promoting independence, and life skills • CPR/First Aid certified (or willing to obtain) • Trustworthy with strong references
