An open, international upbringing is very important to us. I want my son to have the chance to discover new cultures, learn a different language in a playful way, and grow up with a natural curiosity for people from all around the world. These intercultural experiences are incredibly valuable — they broaden horizons, encourage tolerance, and often create connections that last a lifetime. As a single mother who has just started a new job, the next few months will be quite busy and challenging. That’s why it means a lot to have someone by our side who can offer kind support, help us navigate everyday life, and bring a little piece of the world into our home. For this reason, we are looking for an au pair as soon as possible — ideally for around two months. We would be happy to welcome an open‑minded, warm-hearted person who wants to become part of our small family and share this special time with us. We are a small and cheerful family: Leo (9 years old), our dog Pippa (a Cocker Spaniel), and me, Janine (40). Our home is dynamic, active, and open-minded — there is almost never a dull moment. Leo is a lively, sporty boy who loves to laugh, stay active, and try new things. We enjoy spending a lot of time together: visiting trampoline parks, going to the zoo or the swimming pool, playing badminton, or meeting up with friends are all part of our regular routine. We are excited to welcome an au pair who would like to become part of our warm, energetic family — someone who enjoys being active, loves spending time with children, and is open to sharing and shaping our everyday life together.
Our home is always lively, and we often find ourselves running from one activity to the next. That’s why it would mean a lot to us to welcome an au pair who can support us in our everyday life. As a single mother who wants to encourage and support her child, it isn’t always easy to manage everything alongside work without stress. We are therefore looking for someone who can help us with daily routines, who can introduce Leo to a bit of French, and who will allow us to enjoy our time together more consciously — focusing on the beautiful moments rather than rushing through them. Tasks where we would appreciate your support Preparing Leo’s school bag in the morning and driving Leo + the neighbor’s children to school (the au pair will have their own car) Picking Leo up from school in the afternoon and driving him to his hobbies (the au pair will have their own car) Playing with Leo and helping him learn French in a fun way (fixed: 1 hour of French per week) Walking the dog 1–2 times per week Cooking for Leo 1–2 times per week Babysitting in the evening 1–2 times per week Enjoying shared dinners, speaking German and/or French together If possible: doing small errands or vacuuming from time to time
