We are a busy, and creative family and love each other even during 2 year old tantrums! We encourage expressiveness and independent behaviour. Our older child is in a Montessori nursery two days a week. Our youngest is with me (mum) every day. On the weekends we visit parks, playgrounds, galleries, markets, friends and family or our allotment. We treat each of us as equals however we are disciplined and try to install good manners and behaviour in our kids. We live in a friendly and fun part of london near parks, cafes, shops, cinemas and bars of East Dulwich and Peckham Rye. We are 20 minutes on the train to central london. We are a busy family, and are out every morning at the park/classes/swimming etc. At home in the afternoons we play a lot and are creative. We sing, dance, watch films, read books, draw and paint. Playtime can be wild and loud or quiet and imaginative.
We are looking for a nurturing, warm and fun reliable woman to help me (mum - Nicola) in the busier times of the day to help feed, bath, play, read stories and put to bed our two girls. Busy times are that I need help with are: breakfast (7am) and the evening meal/kids bedtime (4-8pm) And also help me clean up afterwards i.e. tidy up kitchen/bathroom/play areas. Would like to have help to some times to take care of one or the other child in the day for a couple of hours so I can get some quality time with one or the other child (maybe twice a week). Also to some times (once a week maybe) to come with us to a gallery, museum, woodlands, zoo and other London based visits during the week. Possibly looking after both on your own on an occasional evening so that Dad - Rob and I can go to the cinema or something (once every 2 weeks maybe).
