We are an Australian/ South African couple looking for an energetic, kind and fun nanny/ au pair to help care for our daughters (7 years and 4 years). Our current, much loved nanny is heading back to New Zealand to begin her studies. The role can be live in or out and is really dependent on finding the best person for our family. We are looking for someone who can start around the 20th April. Hours are afterschool care (16+ hours per week) with some babysitting (which would be agreed in advance). Holidays would be longer days.
The role is sole care of both girls including after school activities and arranging playdates. Other aspects of the role are: - Cooking interesting and healthy meals - Encouraging and stimulating child development - Planning/ attending various outings; museum visits, park/ activities (including swimming lessons) - School drop-offs and pick ups as required - Keeping the play areas and kitchen clean and tidy, plus be happy to run the some household errands (we have a regular cleaner who will continue to do main household cleaning duties) - Maintain routines - Occasional bathtime and preparing for bed - General nanny duties, laundry etc. Candidate should be eligible to work (and interview) in the UK and be able to provide the following: - Energetic, creative, resourceful and fun personality. Must have an enthusiastic and positive attitude. - Fluent written and spoken English - First Aid certificate - Non-smoker - Verifiable references - Preferably live locally
