My wife and I are both lawyers work full time in demanding jobs. However, my wife works one day from home, so that she can look after our children for one day during the week. We are looking for someone responsible, positive, energetic and caring, with previous experience of looking after young children. We would also like them to have a good knowledge of English and, ideally, some familiarity with living in London or another big city. We need someone who can commit to being with us for at least 4 months and then possibly longer, assuming it works out.
Our two daughters are aged 6 and 8. They are are affectionate, bright, creative, energetic, warm-hearted and (generally!) well-behaved. We all live in a fairly large, comfortable house in south west London, with a garden. Nearby (within easy walking distance) are plenty of parks, shops, cafes, restaurants, transport links and activities. We are looking for someone to work 24 hours / week (over 4 days) during school term time. Main responsibilities will be dropping our daughters at school, picking them up after school, taking them to after school activities, cooking healthy meals and getting them ready for bed. During school holidays we would also need our au pair to work up to 48 hours / week (over 4.5 days), depending on the out of school activities which we arrange.
