We are a family of 4. My older son is 5 and goes to school. My younger son is 2 and goes to nursery full time. My wife and I both work 4 days a week. We are an easy going family that lives spending time with each other.
The aupair's main role will be to walk older son to school and back in the afternoon. The school is 5 minutes walk away through a park. After returning home, he will need some supervision till we return home by about 6pm. Our younger son will continue to go to full time nursery and we don't expect the au pair will have to do much with him at all.
