Personal introduction

Hello, future host family! My name is Juvy, a 22-year-old Filipina with a background in childcare, education, hospitality, and leadership. I have experience as a live-in nanny and tutor for a young child in a Chinese family, an ESL teacher, and a dedicated aunt who has helped care for and support my nephew as he grows and learns. I studied Psychology and Tourism Management, which strengthened my understanding of child development, communication, cultural awareness, and building meaningful relationships. Professionally, I worked my way up from Front Desk Associate to Operations Manager, developing strong responsibility, organization, problem-solving, and people skills. I am a caring, patient, and dependable person who genuinely enjoys helping children learn, explore, and feel safe and loved. Whether it’s assisting with homework, teaching English, organizing fun activities, preparing simple meals, or being a trusted big sister, I strive to create a positive and nurturing environment where children can thrive. I also understand that a happy home requires teamwork. I am very willing to help with household chores such as tidying, laundry, organizing, cleaning children’s areas, and other housekeeping tasks to help make daily family life easier and more comfortable.
