Personal introduction

Hello, my name is Esther, I am 28 years old and from Kenya. I am a warm, caring, patient, and responsible person, and I genuinely enjoy being around children. I have three years of childcare experience, and through this experience I have learned that caring for children is not only about meeting their daily needs, but also about making them feel loved, understood, comfortable, and safe. One thing I really value about myself is that children tend to feel safe and comfortable around me. I am patient with them, I listen to them, and I enjoy getting to know their personalities. I love playing with children, helping them with their routines, preparing simple meals, assisting with schoolwork, keeping them entertained, and creating a positive environment where they can learn and grow. I also understand the importance of being responsible and attentive when caring for children. I speak English,Swahili and Kikuyu is my mother tongue. I am also very interested in learning a new language and improving my communication skills while living with my host family. I would love to become an au pair because I see it as an opportunity to become part of a family, not simply as a childcare arrangement. I would love to build a genuine relationship with my host family, support you with the children and their daily routines, learn about your culture and way of life, and also share my Kenyan culture, traditions, food, and experiences with you. I am currently looking for an au pair opportunity within the European Union, and I am open to adapting to a new environment and learning your family's way of life. I understand that every country has its own laws, requirements, and cultural expectations, and I am committed to following the rules and legal requirements of the country I join and respecting the values and guidelines of my host family. I am hoping to find a family where we can communicate openly, respect one another, and create a warm and happy environment for the children.
