Personal introduction

My name is Felipe, and I am from Brazil. I am very excited about the possibility of becoming an au pair and having the opportunity to experience life in another country, learn about a new culture, and become part of a host family. One of my main motivations for becoming an au pair is to have an experience outside my home country and grow both personally and culturally. I currently have basic English skills, and I see this experience as a great opportunity to improve my English or Spanish through daily life, communication, and cultural exchange. I am willing to learn, practice, and become more confident with the language. I am currently studying Nutrition at university. My experience with children is still limited, and I want to be honest about that. During my studies, I had the opportunity to participate in educational activities and presentations at schools for young children. These experiences allowed me to interact with children in an educational environment and made me enjoy their curiosity, energy, and spontaneity. I consider myself a calm, respectful, responsible, and open-minded person. I understand that being an au pair is not only about spending time with children, but also about becoming part of the family's daily routine. I am willing to help with household tasks, keep things organized, prepare simple meals when necessary, and contribute wherever I can. I am patient and willing to learn your family's routines and the way you prefer things to be done. I believe that trust and good communication are very important, especially when someone is welcomed into your home and entrusted with your children. I know that every family is different, and I would be happy to learn about your traditions, lifestyle, and expectations. For me, being an au pair is not only about travelling, but also about creating a genuine connection with the family, growing personally, and building meaningful memories.
