Personal introduction

My name is Heloísa. I am 24 years old. I am from São Paulo, Brazil. I have experience working with children, adolescents, and people with intellectual or physical disabilities. I am very organized and a quick learner. I really enjoy helping with schoolwork. I learned English by studying on my own. My father lives in Japan. My mother lives with me in Brazil. I also have a 5-year-old son. My family has deep roots in my city, so I have many acquaintances and some friends. Within my family, I have always looked after the younger ones. I have also cared for people with disabilities in both my own family and the families of friends. I consider myself a practical person. I am good at teaching and like to keep things organized. I have plenty of energy and am good with schedules. I am committed to a respectful relationship with the family, and I hope you feel the same way. I graduated in 2019. I have held various jobs since then. Currently, I work in accounting and property management. I also provide advisory services. I have a dream of going somewhere else, and the au pair program could really help with that—giving me experience and a chance to settle into the rhythm of life in a different place. I enjoy speaking another language, and I believe all my effort will be worth it. I hope we can live together in peace and, above all, with mutual respect. I realize the culture is different, but I am ready to give it my best. I expect the same in return—respect for me as an individual. usually work out in my free time. Right now, I’m focused on work and on my dream of moving to another country. My native language is Portuguese—or, as we say here, Brazilian Portuguese. I taught myself English at home by listening to music and doing my own research. My father and aunt were also self-taught. I don't consider myself fluent yet, but I chat with online friends in English every day. So, I’m on the path to fluency, and I’m sure that if a family accepts me, it will really help me with the language aspect. I understand Spanish because it’s similar to Portuguese.
