Personal introduction

I want to be an au pair because I really love kids and I want to see life outside Uganda. I’m Charity, 27. I did a Diploma in Agriculture and now I work in a factory. The factory job made me disciplined. I wake up early, follow rules, and I’m used to being busy and responsible.At home I’m the first born. I have 3 sisters — 17, 14, and 9. When they were small, around 4 or 5, I was the one looking after them when mom was busy. We’d cook together, draw, play outside, and I helped with homework. I also taught computer to kids 10 to 18 for about a year. I’m patient with kids. I don’t shout. I explain slowly.I want to join a host family to learn your language better, your food, and how you live day to day. I can also teach you Ugandan food and games. I love pets, I love cooking, and I just like being around kids and making them laugh.If you choose me, I’ll treat your kids like my own sisters and I’ll be part of your family, not just a helper.
