Personal introduction

Kia ora! My name is Amy, and I’m in my final year of a Bachelor of Early Childhood Education at Victoria University of Wellington, Aotearoa, New Zealand. Before I begin registration to become a fully qualified teacher, I would love to spend 12 months as an au pair in a European Country, sharing my love for children and immersing myself in a new culture. Working with children isn’t just a job for me, it’s my life path. I absolutely adore children, helping them thrive and grow with love, care, and gentleness, guiding them to explore and learn with confidence. I also hope to share Aotearoa’s culture and the Māori language, te reo Māori, with your family, while learning from yours. I see myself as a caring older sister, someone your children can laugh with, feel safe with, and grow alongside every day, treating your babies with the utmost care.
