Personal introduction
I want to become an au pair because it beautifully combines my genuine love for childcare with cultural exchange and personal growth. Caring for children brings me great joy, as I find fulfillment in supporting their development, creativity, and confidence in a safe and nurturing environment.
Being an au pair will allow me to become part of a family’s daily life, learn new traditions, and experience a new culture in a meaningful and authentic way. I am especially motivated to improve my language skills through immersion and everyday communication. I currently have basic knowledge of German (Deutsch) and Dutch, and I am actively focusing on learning and improving my German through self-study and practice.
With my background in childcare, teaching, and as a TEFL-qualified English teacher, I see the au pair experience as an opportunity to positively contribute to a family while continuing to grow both personally and professionally. I value responsibility, trust, patience, and mutual respect, and I believe being an au pair is a meaningful exchange where both the family and the au pair learn from each other.
