Personal introduction

I want to become an au pair because I genuinely enjoy working with children and have several years of experience in childcare. Being an au pair allows me to continue doing what I love while also experiencing life in a new country and culture. I see the au pair experience as a meaningful cultural exchange, where I can become part of a family’s everyday life, build strong connections with the children, and at the same time grow personally. I am especially motivated by the opportunity to learn a new language, experience a different culture, and challenge myself in a new environment. I believe that my background as a childcare assistant and babysitter, including my experience working with children who need extra support, has prepared me well for the responsibilities of being an au pair. I am caring, patient and responsible, and I always strive to create a safe, positive and supportive environment for children. Overall, becoming an au pair feels like a natural and meaningful next step for me, combining my passion for childcare with my desire to learn, grow and experience life abroad.
