Personal introduction

Dear Future Host Family, Hello, my name is Felicia Vanesa Susanto. I am 18 years old, from Indonesia, and I have graduated from senior high school. I am a caring, responsible, and open-minded person who truly enjoys learning new things and exploring different cultures. My hobbies are watching internasional movie, traveling, and singing. The main reason I want to become an au pair is that I have a strong passion for discovering new experiences, especially learning about cultures, languages, and lifestyles that are different from where I am from. I believe this program will give me the opportunity to grow personally while contributing positively to your family’s daily life and helping make your days smoother and more enjoyable. I find happiness in seeing children smile and grow, and I would be delighted to become a supportive and loving big sister to the children. Since I was around 10 years old, I have been helping my aunt take care of my niece and nephew, who are now aged 7 and 9. Through those years, I gained over 800 hours of valuable experience in childcare and light household chores. These experiences have taught me to be patient, independent, and friendly—qualities that I believe are very important for an au pair to have. With my passion for children, willingness to adapt, and enthusiasm for learning about new cultures, I am confident that I would be a great addition to your family. In my free time, I enjoy singing, watching international movies, and listening to music. I live a healthy lifestyle, do not smoke or drink, and I can ride a bicycle or motorbike.
