Personal introduction
My name is Veronicah, I’m 22 years old and from Kenya.I speak fluent English , kiswahili and I've been learning Germany.
I hold a degree in Community Development and Environment, and I’ve been working officially as a social worker, with a special focus on children. My work has given me the opportunity to engage with kids from different backgrounds, support their emotional and educational needs, and express my creativity through play, storytelling, and interactive learning.
I chose this path because it gives me endless opportunities to be around children, support their growth, and use my creativity through play, learning, and care.
I want to become an Aupair mainly because I see it as a natural extension of everything I already love and do caring for children, being part of a family, learning about new cultures, and sharing mine as well.
I bring a blend of personal warmth, childcare experience, and professionalism. I’ve worked with children both officially and informally. As a social worker, I’ve engaged with children from diverse backgrounds, creating safe and supportive spaces where they could express themselves.
During school holidays, I also volunteer to tutor children, helping with homework, reading, and interactive learning activities.
Personally I’ve looked after my younger siblings and help raise my nieces and nephew over the years, so I’m familiar with the routines and patience required to care for children of different ages.
I've taken babysitting responsibilities from friends and relatives over the years .
I am organized, calm under pressure, and very adaptable. I respect family values, I love nature and outdoor activities, and I’m always happy to lend a hand whether it’s with light household tasks, dog walks, playtime, or bedtime routines.
