Personal introduction
I want to be an au pair because I have a genuine love for children and I find so much joy in being part of their everyday growth. I have always been fascinated by how children see the world with so much curiosity and honesty, and I enjoy supporting them in their learning and creativity. Spending time with kids has taught me patience, responsibility, and how to create a safe but fun environment for them. Becoming an au pair gives me the chance to use these qualities in a meaningful way.
Another reason I want to become an au pair is because I truly value cultural exchange. I don’t want to just visit another country as a tourist, I want to live in it, learn the traditions, experience daily life, and build strong connections with people who come from a different background than mine. For me, being an au pair is the perfect balance: I can contribute to a family by helping with their children, while at the same time broadening my perspective by living as part of their culture.
I also see this journey as an opportunity for personal growth. I want to challenge myself to step outside my comfort zone, to adapt to new environments, and to become more independent. I believe that living abroad, being responsible for children, and adjusting to a new family life will make me more mature, resilient, and open-minded.
Overall, I want to be an au pair because it combines everything that matters to me: caring for children, building real connections with people, and experiencing the world in a meaningful way. I am excited about the possibility of becoming a supportive and trusted part of a host family, while also growing into a better version of myself.
