Personal introduction

Dear future host! My name is Maria and I am a student of the Moscow Pedagogical University. I have two big passions in my life, teaching and languages, which I combine in my profession. As much as I love languages, I appreciate the cultures. I'm convinced that learning about the country is no less important than acquiring the language of it, that's why I always strive to gain as much cultural experience as possible. Being an au-pair is a great chance for me to see the world outside my motherland while being able to bring benefit to those who host me. You won't regret picking me as an au-pair, for I have a lot of skill and experience nursing young children and handling older ones. I'm an eldest daughter of the family and since I was a child myself I enjoyed staying with my younger siblings. When it comes to professional experience, I've taught English to pre-school students for two years, later re-qualifying to teach secondary and high school. I've also worked as a counselor in a summer camp and a teacher assistant in a bilingual kindergarten. I am patient, easy-going, creative and good at problem-solving, children tend to love me and I always do my best to keep them happy, safe and sound! I am looking forward to a new experience as an au-pair, hoping to gain a lot of experience and find good friends! I speak very fluent English(C1+), French at level B2, Greek A2. During my stay I would love to improve one my languages and gain cultural experience while helping you around. Looking forward to getting to know you better!
