Personal introduction

Dear future Host Family, Hallo! I am a Sri Lankan in search of my first family match. I have been longing to be an Au Pair and I’m ready to be one soon. I am 18 years old and l have finished my higher educations. I can speak English fluently and also l have a good knowledge regarding German, French and Korean language as l am comfortable to work with foreign nations. I am passionate about working with kids. My childcare experience includes with my 3 cousins who are younger than me. One is 3 years younger than me other two are still in primary school which is grade 5. We grew up altogether as we get along well and played a lot. Now we do study together and sometimes play. Eldest younger brother used to take English language classes from me as l did English medium in School. Growing up with them develops my patience skills as well as mutual-understanding among kids. I am fortunate to have a hardworking and co-operative family of 7 and my dog; Brown. My both parents are Teachers and both my sister and brother are Engineers. They both are married to the love of their life and now live in their own places. Growing up, I always had their attention, love and care. With this setting, they taught me to be independent, kind, motivate, respectful and responsible in my life. I like it when things are clean and tidy seeing that l am mentally peaceful. I’m positive to give you hand to tide up the house to make a peaceful and a lovely environment. To the best of my belief l have to step up in life and l am taking this as a big opportunity for that. I want to collect mesmerizing memories to look back and to be proud of. I am highly delightful to be the au pair in your family. One reason is because of the opportunity to explore trough the culture. I believe l am capable of being a good au pair for your family because l am responsible, trustworthy in the tasks you will assigned me to, kind, patient, respectful and most of all family- oriented. Pavini Samara My Motivation The root for the idea of becoming an au pair begins with my passion to learn German language from native speakers, in a surrounding that I can hear the language frequently and at the same time get immersed in the culture. Exploring the world and cultures simultaneously learning their languages is one of my targets and here I am ready to start it from German. German is a country full of Cultural Heritage. Germany has a rich cultural heritage with famous composers, philosophers, and writers. As a lover of literature, I should surf through German libraries too. I am already thrilled to explore the such a rich heritage. To mention about the festival “Oktoberfest” in German. Here in Colombo which is the main financial city of Sri Lanka, held an equally representative celebration in order to show the differentiation of cultures. I get captivated by kids very easily where I can’t resist them but to cuddle them. Kids are not always calm and quite yet they can be mischievous and loud but they just remind me of my childhood. I can be calm, kind and loveable as much as they are respectful, listen to me and do value my words. I value each and every minute of my life where they add memories and experiences to my journal and l am motivated enough to make your family and those lovely kids to make a part of it.
