Personal introduction

Hello dear families reading this, my name is Merle, affectionately called "Teddy" by my friends and I'm a 19 year old student from a snuggly little island in the north of Germany. In June of this year I will be graduating and before heading off to university, where I will most likely major in Political Science, I decided I wanted to try out something else and broaden my horizon, so that's why I'm here. I speak German (C2), English (C2) and some basic French (A2). My hobbies include drawing/painting, writing, reading and all sorts of creative actvities I would also be more than happy to participate in with the children of my host family! I've always loved working with kids and I wanna give something back to the world by teaching the new generation, wether it is in the fields of arts, language or even just managing to make them smile and be confident. Exploring a new culture with a lovely family would mean everything to me and I am ready to work hard. My friends say I'm a good cook and teacher, as well as that I am fun, warm and welcoming.
