We live in Muswell Hill which is a beautiful part of North London with many parks, great views, good transport links to central London (20 minutes by tube to Oxford Circus) shops,a cinema and small cafes. There is also a good English language school in walking distance which you could attend for extra tuition if you wish. Many other families in our school have au pairs. It's easy to make new friends and learn English. We have two lovely girls, aged 8 and 11 years. My husband is English and I am German. We need an Au Pair starting August/September 2016. Our children love having an au pair and are already looking forward to meeting you. To them, it's like having a big sister and they become quickly part of the family.
You would need to get the children ready in the morning, take them to school, collect them and organise the afternoon activities including homework. They love climbing, cycling, going to the park, gymnastics and dancing. They are vivacious, fun and love dance and art. We need an au pair who loves getting involved with the children, ideally we would like somebody who also loves outdoor sports and enjoys being active. You would need to help them with their daily homework after school. We speak only English in the house but we don't want to lose their connection with Germany. Therefore it would be nice if you could speak with them a little German in the afternoon, play games, have fun. There is a little housework to be done, just like in any family. It's helping in the kitchen, sometimes cooking light simple meals for the kids after school, keeping things tidy around the kids.
