We are a French family (speaking English) with 3 daughters of 3, 12 and 15 respectively in kindergarden, middle school, high school. We have one cat (no pet care). Our kids are bilingual and they attend a bilingual school: that is why we are looking for somebody who can help them practice their English. The person we are looking for should be a young Anglophone woman from UK, Ireland or Commonwealth (VISA difficulties otherwise), experienced with child care and teens education. You will take care of our children before and after school 5 days a week. Your responsibilities as an au pair are related to child care: • Dropping our youngest daughter off and picking her up from school or after-school activities • Taking children to play groups, parks and other fun outings • Supervise the homework and assist with English homework • Assisting in keeping the children's rooms and play areas clean • Preparing snacks and meals for the children • Doing some cooking and baking • Cleaning up after meals • Keeping the children's rooms and play/living areas tidy. • Staying home during school vacations, when a child is sick or on other unexpected days off As a member of the household, you will contribute to small, everyday tasks like : • Doing the laundry i.e. putting the washing on, hanging it out, folding and putting it away • Ironing, Vacuuming • Keeping your own bedroom and bathroom clean and tidy but only in a way that is equal to the contributions of other members of the family.
