I am a nurse who is going back to part-time employment and needs someone to help with child care for my 14 year old son. He has cerebral palsy and is deaf but is independent with his powered wheelchair and communicates well verbally. He has an amazing sense of humour and everyone who knows him loves him! We're looking for someone who is fun, honest, reliable and will become part of our small family unit. The right person would need to be prepared to stay for at least 3 to 4 months as it takes time to build up relationships.
The au pair would need to assist with some dressing and personal care tasks for my son and interact with him when he comes home from school. Possibly some cooking and light household tasks, taking my son out to the shops or activities. Very relaxed household really! I work 2 days a week and my son will be in school from 0800 hours until 1600 hours during term times.
