We are the Fitzgerald Family. We live in the country 3 miles outside Elgin, Scotland which is a town on the main A96 road between the cities of Inverness and Aberdeen. Elgin has lots of places, coffee shops, restaurants, a leisure centre with ice rink, gym and swimming pool, a college/university, cinema and bowling alley. We live 7 miles away from the beautiful beaches. We live 4 miles from town in a 4 bedroom bungalow with 2 acre garden. It's a peaceful house with a nice relaxing feel. Our back garden is big with a playhouse and swing - no dogs are allowed in it, just the cat! The front garden is big where the dogs are. Our family is made up of Daniel, Bethan, Mali and Eira. Daniel works as a joiner often working away all week in Aberdeen. I (Beth) am a Vet and and work ?Monday to Friday?. Eira is a 5 year old girl who loves Disney movies and dressing up. Mali is a 3 year old girl who loves to help whoever is working around the house!
As our Au pair you would be expected to work ?from Mon-Friday?. Saturday and Sunday would always be your days off. You would be required to: Spend an hour in the morning helping me get them ready for school Keep their rooms tidy Vacuum and dust Take Mali to school and pick her up Play with the children after school Use the washing machine Cook meals for yourself and the children Once the children are settled, we would like to go training once a week with the dogs We would try to take you most places we visit like Inverness, Aberdeen, Glasgow etc if you wished to go. We can provide a car for you most days. Your bedroom has a double bed and plenty storage for clothes. We are happy to top up credit once a month for a mobile phone so you can contact us and other au pairs in the area. We have wireless internet There are various days off throughout the year. Our home is very welcoming and we are happy to have friends and family to come and stay with you as long as it has been previously arranged with us.
