Personal introduction

Hi, my name is Beatriz Ribeiro, I am from a coast city in Brazil called Guarujá and I'm graduating in Environmental Engineering. I live with my family: My father, mother and 3 brothers - I'm the oldest. My father is 45 years old, he called Sérgio and works as a janitor in a condominium and my mother, who is 46 years old, called Maria Madalena, is a housewife. She takes care of my younger brother, Alexandre, who is 14 years old. He's a student. João, who is 20, has just finished High School and Bruno, who is 22 years old, works in the Port of the city. As hobbies, I like to go to the movies and the beach. As I live close to the sea, that's my favorite place to hang out. Guarujá is known for its beaches, there are 27 total, I have studied tourism. From September 2013 to January 2015, I worked as a teacher in a public school in my city. I was a science teacher and I taught children from 7 to 11 years old. Working with the kids was great because they were willing to learn.Here in Brazil, I babysat 3 children: Raissa(8 years old), Julia (6 year old) and Samuel (01 year old) in 20016. I needed to shower them and take them to pre-school in the morning and take them back in the end of the afternoon. I want to go on this program for many reasons. First of all, I want to improve my English. As I have already gone on an exchange program, I miss that time and I want to visit America again, to know more about your culture. This experience will bring me knowledge that I'll carry for the rest of my life. Having this feeling of independence and knowing how to deal with a different culture,
