We're a professional, working couple living in Cobham, Surrey in a large house. I'm an Associate Director at a property firm and my husband is an Accountant. We're currently expecting our fist baby girl to be born end of June/beginning of July and we'll need some assistance with childcare duties. I would also be looking to return to work after our daughter is 6 months old so we would like an au-pair to stay with us for 2 years if possible or more. Ideally, we'd like a German speaking au-pair, as both of us despite being British have some German background and we would like our daughter to learn German from an early age. We're non-smokers so we would like a non-smoker au-pair as well.
Childcare duties will be the main duties, we have very little expectations beyond that. There might be some minor requests; i.e. to fold child clothes or organise toys in the baby's room, but we're mainly looking for someone to look after the baby during the day. This will include feeding the baby, changing, taking for a walk, playing, etc.
